YouTube ~ automated removal of unlicensed music

There is a recently posted article on the MediaSlap.soundworks.com blog about copyright “Can Music Copyright Exist on the Web? – part one” with a few good comments too.
Now YouTube has picked up a big hammer in enforcing the music rights. Have they unleashed a robot to listen for unlicensed music within video posts?
